What it is

Revenue.io is a sales engagement platform that runs natively inside Salesforce: a dialer with call routing, email and SMS sequences, real-time call guidance, conversation intelligence and, on the top tier, pipeline and forecast management. It began as ringDNA, a Los Angeles dialer company founded in 2013 by CEO Howard Brown, and renamed itself Revenue.io on November 2, 2021. Goldman Sachs led a $30 million round in 2018, and Bryant Stibel and Palisades Capital are its other named backers. In scope it resembles Salesloft and Outreach. The difference is architectural: calls, recordings and AI output are written to Salesforce objects in real time instead of being synced from a separate database. It is still independent: we found no acquisition or wind-down news from the past 12 months.

The question this page answers: on September 2, 2026, Salesloft announced that it now operates as one company with Clari and kept the Clari name only for Clari Forecast. Teams that bought Salesloft and Clari separately now have one vendor and one renewal. If you want engagement, coaching and forecasting from a vendor outside that combination, and your system of record is Salesforce, Revenue.io is the first name we would shortlist.

Why it shows up in RevOps stacks

  • Salesforce is the database. Revenue.io works with Salesforce’s own objects, campaigns, routing and reports instead of keeping its own store. Calls, dispositions, recordings and AI summaries land on the Salesforce record without a sync job, so pipeline reports read the same activity reps see.
  • Guidance during the call, not after it. Moments, the real-time coaching feature, puts a talk track on the rep’s screen when a prospect mentions a competitor, a pricing objection or another keyword you configure. Most conversation-intelligence tools score the call after it ends.
  • The dialer is in the base tier. Activate includes the dialer, local numbers in 40+ countries, call recording and routing, SMS and a mobile app. That makes Revenue.io a fit for inbound response and routing teams, not only outbound SDRs.
  • AI output goes into fields. On Orchestrate, Conversation Agents extract structured insights from calls into Salesforce, next to Ask Revenue AI, AI scorecards and Deal Health Scores.

Pricing reality

Nothing is published. revenue.io/pricing, checked on 2026-09-13, lists three seat-based tiers (Activate, Engage and Orchestrate), a 15-seat minimum and a demo for every quote. Vendr’s buyer guide puts the median annual contract at $64,494, with a range from $16,798 to $393,211, and confirms Engage at $175 per user per month list. Third-party estimates put Activate at about $75-100 and Orchestrate at about $200-350 per user per month. Those two are estimates, not quotes.

Worked examples at Engage list price: the 15-seat minimum is 15 × $175 × 12 = $31,500 a year, and 30 reps is $63,000, close to the Vendr median. Salesforce licences are extra and required.

Against the combination it would replace: our Salesloft page cites a Vendr median of about $30,700, before the dialer (about $300-400 per user a year) and conversation intelligence (another 20-40%) are added. Vendr puts Clari’s median at $76,000. Revenue.io’s Engage and Orchestrate tiers include dialing and conversation analysis, so compare the full Salesloft-plus-Clari bill, not the Salesloft base.

Best for

RevOps leaders at Salesforce companies with 15 or more sellers who run inbound response and outbound calling from the same team, want every call logged and coached on the Salesforce record, and have a Salesloft or Clari renewal coming up.

Not for you if your CRM is HubSpot: Revenue.io lists HubSpot as an integration, not as a CRM it runs on. It is also the wrong buy under 15 sellers, and for pure cold-calling volume, where connects per hour matter more than guidance and a parallel dialer does the job better.

Versus the alternatives

  • Outreach is the largest engagement incumbent (Vendr records 914 purchases). Pick it at 50+ outbound reps, or when AI agents in Claude or ChatGPT need to read and write engagement data today: its MCP server went generally available in February 2026. We found no Revenue.io MCP server. Pick Revenue.io when native Salesforce logging and live guidance matter more.
  • Salesloft, now one company with Clari, is the other incumbent. Pick it when you want engagement and Clari Forecast from one vendor, or when you run HubSpot. Pick Revenue.io when you want to stay outside that bundle and keep everything on Salesforce objects.
  • Nooks is the fastest-growing entrant in sales calling. It raised a $43 million Series B led by Kleiner Perkins in October 2024 and reported 4x ARR growth that year. Pick it for SDR teams of 5 to 25 reps cold-calling at volume with a parallel dialer. Pick Revenue.io when calls are inbound or one-to-one and coaching during the call matters more than dials per hour.
  • Salesforce’s own stack bundles Sales Engagement into Sales Cloud. Its help documentation says Sales Dialer is scheduled for retirement and points customers to Salesforce Voice. Stay native if you only need basic cadences. Pick Revenue.io when you need the dialer, routing and live guidance while Salesforce moves its own telephony.

If none of these fits, check the CRM first. On HubSpot, start with HubSpot’s own sequences and a dialer. On Salesforce with fewer than 15 sellers, Apollo covers sequences and dialing without a seat minimum.

Watch-outs

  • Call quality is the recurring complaint. 2026 review roundups report dropped calls and audio problems, which also create false activity entries in Salesforce. Guard: run the pilot for two weeks on your reps’ real networks and headsets, and count dropped calls per 100 before you sign a 12-month term.
  • It only works with Salesforce. A CRM migration ends the product’s usefulness. Guard: if a move off Salesforce is plausible within two years, keep the term to 12 months and ask for a termination right tied to a CRM change.
  • The features in the demo sit on the top tier. Forecasting, Deal Health Scores and Conversation Agents are Orchestrate-only, and Activate has no conversation intelligence. Guard: get the feature-to-tier mapping in writing, and price Orchestrate against the Salesloft-plus-Clari bill you are replacing, not against Engage.
  • Ramp and configuration. Reviewers describe the dialer as a separate window and report two to four weeks before reps are fluent. Moments only fires on keywords and talk tracks someone has set up. Guard: name an admin to build the Moments library before go-live, and plan the first month as ramp, not as a productivity baseline.
  • No agent access of its own. Guard: because the data already sits on Salesforce records, give agents access through the Salesforce connector your team already uses rather than waiting for a Revenue.io MCP server.
