What it is
Airspeed is the company that was called Glyphic until mid-2026, and glyphic.ai now redirects to goairspeed.com. It records sales calls, then acts on them: it writes MEDDPICC fields, deal stages, and next steps into Salesforce or HubSpot after each call, flags deal risk, drafts follow-ups, and produces coaching sheets. The vendor calls it “the commercial brain for revenue teams”; the useful translation is a revenue-intelligence tool built around agents that take the CRM action instead of reporting that it should be taken.
The company was founded in 2022 by two former DeepMind research scientists, Adam Liska and Devang Agrawal, and is based in London and New York. On 4 June 2026 it announced a $20M Series A led by DN Capital, with Vi Partners, Framework Venture Partners, and Atlassian Ventures participating, after a $5.7M seed from Point72 Ventures in 2023. Dealroom reports a company claim of 200 customers across 20 countries; named customers include Persona, Pricefx, Qdrant, Foleon, and GetAccept.
The 2026 product has four layers. A data layer assembles each account from calls, email, and Slack and answers natural-language questions about it. Prebuilt agents cover pipeline risk, churn risk, CRM hygiene, call prep, follow-ups, coaching, and loss analysis. An orchestration layer writes CRM fields with per-field overwrite, append, merge, or keep rules. An execution layer sends outreach and Slack alerts once your guardrails allow it. Recording covers Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Webex, plus dialers including Aircall, Dialpad, RingCentral, Nooks, and Five9.
Why it shows up in RevOps stacks
- A human comes with the software. Airspeed’s homepage says every plan includes a forward-deployed RevOps analyst who maps the platform to your CRM and methodology and tunes agents as the motion changes. For a 20-rep team without a dedicated RevOps engineer, that is the difference between a configured MEDDPICC writeback and a recorder nobody trusts.
- A published floor in a quote-only segment. Gong, Clari, and Attention publish no list price. Airspeed publishes one number — plans from about $5,000/year — which lets a small team know it is in range before booking a demo.
- Agent access over MCP. The Airspeed MCP server is per-user OAuth and exposes calls, playbooks, and agent runs to Claude and ChatGPT; a
run_agenttool can act through connected integrations. A public REST API covers calls, transcripts, insights, snippets, playbooks, and agent runs.
Pricing
Checked 2026-10-15 against Airspeed’s homepage, its mid-market pricing post, and its Gong comparison page. There is no public per-seat price.
- Entry point — plans from about $5,000/year, annual, sales-led.
- What sets the quote — the mix of Executive, Leadership, and IC seats, the modules you enable, included agent capacity agreed before rollout, and CRM complexity (heavily customized Salesforce quotes higher).
- Add-ons — forecasting is a separate, unpriced module. A competitor’s teardown reports recording backfill at $1 per call after the first 100.
- Switching offer — free use until an existing Gong contract ends, with free data migration.
Real-world band: treat $5,000/year as the floor for a handful of seats, not a 20-rep price. For calibration against the leader, ooligo’s Gong page puts Gong at about $1,400-$2,000 per seat/year plus a $5,000-$50,000 platform fee, with a practical floor of 15-25 seats. Ask Airspeed for the per-seat equivalent and the included agent capacity in writing, then compare that number, not the floor.
Best for
Sales leaders and RevOps owners at B2B teams of roughly 10-50 reps who want MEDDPICC or BANT fields filled from every call and deal-risk flags in Slack, and who have no in-house RevOps engineer to configure it — the forward-deployed analyst is the reason to pick Airspeed over a self-serve tool.
Not for
Teams whose deliverable is the forecast: forecasting is an add-on, and a competitor’s review notes no pipeline waterfall, scheduled snapshots, or forecast-accuracy tracking. Also not for orgs running two CRMs at once — Airspeed connects to one at a time.
Versus the alternatives
- Gong — the market-share leader. Pick Gong for 50+ reps, a scorecard-driven coaching program, and an enterprise procurement process. Pick Airspeed when you are under Gong’s seat floor or when the Gong renewal is the moment to switch for free.
- Clari — the forecasting leader, now merged with Salesloft. Pick Clari when the Friday forecast call is the governance event you are buying for. Pick Airspeed when the problem is that the CRM data feeding the forecast is wrong.
- Attention — the fastest-growing entrant, also agent-first and quote-only, which raised a $30M Series B in June 2026 on 4x ARR growth. Pick Attention for a 100+ agent-template library you will configure yourself. Pick Airspeed when you want a named analyst to do the configuration.
- Sybill or Avoma — pick these when you need a card-swipe, published per-seat price and can live without a human in the rollout.
Watch-outs
- Email does not reach Salesforce by default. A competitor’s teardown reports that Airspeed does not log email to Salesforce; the route is a per-user BCC to Salesforce’s own logger. Guard: confirm in the demo whether email activity writes to your CRM, and if it does not, keep your existing email-sync tool in the plan rather than assuming Airspeed replaces it.
- CRM writes run unattended once switched on. Per-field rules exist, but there is no documented approval queue. Guard: enable writeback on a sandbox or one team first, audit the first 30 updated opportunities against their source calls, and only then widen it.
- Agents are the newest and least stable part. G2 reviewers describe beta agent features as buggy and transcription accuracy as variable on poor audio. Guard: build the business case on CRM-field coverage and rep hours returned, which you can measure in the trial, not on agent actions still in beta.
- The analyst may not be on every quote. The homepage says every plan includes a forward-deployed RevOps analyst; the Gong comparison page calls forward-deployed RevOps support optional. Guard: get the analyst, their hours, and the included agent capacity written into the order form.
- Live recording uses a bot. Teams meetings can block it when the host’s org blocks anonymous joiners. Guard: test a call with your three largest customers’ meeting setups during the trial.
