What it is

Revenue Grid is a Salesforce-only layer that captures email and calendar activity from Microsoft 365 and Gmail, writes it into your Salesforce org, and builds sequences, deal guidance, pipeline views and forecasting on top of that data. It started in 2005 as Invisible.io, became a registered Salesforce ISV partner in 2007, and renamed itself Revenue Grid in 2020. Its co-founder Vlad Voskresensky still leads product. The company says it raised a $20 million Series A in 2021 and has more than 800,000 users. Gartner included it in its first Magic Quadrant for Revenue Action Orchestration, published December 15, 2025, next to Gong, Clari, Outreach and Salesloft. We found no acquisition or shutdown news from the past 12 months.

The question this page answers: “We want Outreach-style sequences, but security won’t approve a second system of record. What runs inside Salesforce?” Revenue Grid is the answer built for that objection. Captured activity is stored in your Salesforce org, not in a vendor database that syncs back.

Why it shows up in RevOps stacks

  • It replaces Einstein Activity Capture’s weak spots. Salesforce’s help documentation says Einstein Activity Capture stores activity on its Activity Platform, not as standard Salesforce records, keeps it 6 months for orgs with only Standard users, and keeps it 24 months by default once the org has a paid license. Revenue Grid logs email and meetings as standard Salesforce activity, so reports, dashboards and Flows can use it, and it backfills history.
  • Sync rules you control. Two-way sync with allowlists, denylists and filter logic decides what gets logged. That matters in financial services and professional services, where some mail must never reach the CRM.
  • The Outlook and Gmail sidebar. Reps see and update Salesforce records from the inbox. Reviewers praise this part most.
  • Hosting options security teams ask for. Revenue Grid offers deployment in a private cloud, lists multi-geo Microsoft 365 support, holds a SOC 2 Type 2 report and ISO 27001 (2022 version), and keeps a public trust center.
  • Engagement on the top tier. Ultimate adds Sales Sequences, Deal Guidance, meeting assistance, True Pipeline, forecasting, relationship intelligence and RG Mentor, which puts guidance inside the Salesforce record.

Pricing reality

Revenue Grid is one of the few vendors in this category that publishes prices. revenuegrid.com/pricing, checked on 2026-09-22, lists three per-user tiers:

  • Activity Capture 360: $30 per user per month. Capture, historical sync, inbox sidebar, scheduling and activity reports.
  • Knowledge Capture: $49 per user per month. Adds AI chat and search across sales data.
  • Revenue Grid Ultimate: $149 per user per month. Adds sequences, deal guidance, pipeline, forecasting and RG Mentor.

Implementation, customization, dedicated success engineers and dedicated hosting are quoted separately. Vendr puts the median annual contract at $18,634, in a range of $13,020 to $38,310, and a buyer there reports a 20% discount on a new purchase.

Worked examples: 50 sellers on Activity Capture 360 cost 50 × $30 × 12 = $18,000 a year, which matches the Vendr median. 30 sellers on Ultimate cost 30 × $149 × 12 = $53,640, above the Vendr median of about $45,600 for Outreach. Salesforce licenses are extra and required.

Best for

RevOps leaders at Salesforce companies in regulated or security-strict industries who need every customer email and meeting logged as reportable Salesforce activity, and who have been told no to another system of record. Start with Activity Capture 360. Move to Ultimate only if you would otherwise buy a separate engagement tool.

Not for you if your CRM is HubSpot or Dynamics: we found no support for either. It is also the wrong buy for a high-volume outbound SDR team that needs a dialer and a contact database. Revenue Grid ships neither.

Versus the alternatives

  • Salesforce Einstein Activity Capture is already in many Sales Cloud editions. Keep it if 6 to 24 months of retention is enough and nobody reports on email activity. Pick Revenue Grid when compliance or pipeline reports need the activity as standard records.
  • Outreach is the largest sales engagement platform (914 purchases on Vendr). Pick it for 50+ outbound reps, deeper sequencing and an MCP server for AI agents. Pick Revenue Grid when capture and in-Salesforce storage matter more than sequencing depth.
  • Salesloft, now one company with Clari, is the other incumbent. Pick it when you want engagement and forecasting from one vendor and are fine with a second data store. Pick Revenue Grid when that second store is the problem.
  • Attention is the fastest-growing entrant in automatic CRM updates: a $30 million Series B in June 2026 and ARR up 4x year over year. It works from call recordings and writes fields with AI agents. Pick it when calls carry the deal context. Pick Revenue Grid when email and calendar do.

People.ai is the closest match on activity capture. We have not reviewed it yet.

If none of these fit, look at the CRM. On HubSpot, native sequences and email logging cover most of this. On Salesforce with fewer than 10 sellers, Einstein Activity Capture plus Apollo costs less.

Watch-outs

  • Sidebar speed. Reviews report slow loading in the Salesforce sidebar and lag in the Outlook plugin, and errors on emails with very long recipient lists. Guard: pilot with your heaviest email users on their real mailboxes for two weeks, and log load time and sync errors before you sign.
  • Everything interesting is on Ultimate. Sequences, forecasting and guidance are $149 per user, five times the capture tier. Guard: buy capture for everyone, and put Ultimate only on the seats that will use sequences, with the tier mapping in the order form.
  • Over-capture. Two-way sync writes whatever the rules allow into Salesforce, including mail that legal would rather keep out. Guard: write the denylist with legal and security before go-live, and audit a sample of logged activity in the first month.
  • No agent access. We found no MCP server or public API. Guard: because the data sits in Salesforce, give AI agents access through the Salesforce connector you already use.
